Scalian Germany joins the German Railway Industry Association (VDB)

Scalian Germany is a member of the German Railway Industry Association (VDB) and is thereby strengthening its commitment to the development of a high-performing, digital and future-ready railway industry.

With our membership in the German Railway Industry Association (VDB), as part of the Scalian Group, we are not only expanding our network. We also want to actively contribute our experience from complex projects to the exchange within the railway industry and work with partners on solutions to the sector’s current and future challenges.

Shaping the transformation of the railway industry together

The railway industry is undergoing profound change. Digitalisation, increasing technical and organisational complexity, new regulatory requirements and the expansion of high-performing rail infrastructure present companies with a wide range of challenges.

Many of these issues cannot be solved in isolation. They require exchange between different stakeholders, common standards and solutions that are not only technologically convincing, but can also be implemented under real-world conditions.

This is precisely where we see the value of a strong industry association.

Membership in the VDB gives us the opportunity to further intensify dialogue within the industry, identify current developments at an early stage and share experience with other companies in the railway sector.

Our expertise for complex railway projects

As an engineering and consulting partner, we support companies in addressing complex technological and organisational challenges.

In particular, we contribute our experience from safety-critical and regulated environments. Our expertise ranges from requirements engineering and systems development through to complex transformation programmes.

Especially in an industry where technological innovation, regulatory requirements and existing systems are closely interconnected, it is essential to bring different perspectives together and translate change into structured implementation.

Our goal is to actively contribute this experience to the VDB network.

Exchange as the basis for practical solutions

At the same time, membership gives us the opportunity to benefit from the expertise of other stakeholders in the railway industry.

Exchange within the VDB helps us identify technological and regulatory developments early, share best practices and view challenges from different perspectives.

This enables us to develop solutions together that not only work on paper, but also meet the actual requirements of complex railway projects. For us, networking therefore means more than simply exchanging knowledge: it creates the basis for advancing transformation jointly and practically.

Taking responsibility for a future-ready railway industry

Through our VDB membership, we want to further expand our commitment to the railway industry and take responsibility for its continued development.

As part of the Scalian Group, we combine our experience from complex engineering and transformation projects with the ambition to develop sustainable, implementable solutions together with customers and partners.

Our ambition is clear: we do not just want to talk about transformation; we want to implement it in concrete terms together with partners in the railway industry.
